If you dream of an intimate wedding in Italy — just the two of you, or with your closest few — and you're looking for someone to capture your day without turning it into a cheesy photoshoot, you're in the right place.
I'm not here to direct your timeline or ask you to repeat moments a hundred times. I won’t stop the ceremony for a better angle or stage endless group shots. I believe the most beautiful images are the ones that happen naturally: a glance, a touch, a breath between two people in love.
I photograph elopements and small weddings — up to 50 guests — with a documentary heart. You live your day fully, and I’ll be there, weaving light and emotion into timeless images. A true reportage, honest and poetic.
If you wish, I may gently guide you for a short, intimate couple session after your vows — a quiet pause just for you two. But even then, there will be no stiff poses or fake moments. You’ll simply be together — and I’ll frame that connection, softly and sincerely.

I take on a limited number of elopements and weddings each year to ensure a personal, high-quality experience. Once we’ve had a chat and aligned visions, a signed agreement and a 50% retainer will confirm your date.

ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL TO US?
Absolutely. I'm based between the Langhe and Liguria, but I'm always happy to travel across Italy — or beyond — for soulful, intimate celebrations. I mainly work in Italy, Scotland and Australia so feel free to contact me if you are planning a special intimate event in one of these amazing location.

DO YOU OFFER PRINTED ALBUMS?
Yes — beautifully crafted, custom albums designed to hold your story with the care it deserves. Once you’ve selected your gallery, it takes up to 90 days for the album to be handmade by my trusted Italian manufacturer.

DO YOU WORK WITH FILM OR DIGITAL?
I shoot digitally with Leica and Canon cameras, and I love to give couples a few instant prints on the day as a keepsake.

My editing process is an essential part of my artistic vision, ensuring each photo reflects my unique style.
DO YOU USE PHOTOSHOP ON THE IMAGES?
I believe in preserving reality. I only apply gentle editing to reflect the emotion of the day, but never alter your appearance.

Both. I love the timeless poetry of black & white and the warmth of natural colors. I usually deliver a balanced mix.
HOW MANY LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?
I’m bilingual: I speak both Italian and English fluently, so I can easily communicate with both Italian and international couples.

Hi, I’m Lara — a photographer with a heart rooted in the countryside and eyes that search for light, emotion, and truth.
I was born in Australia and raised in Italy, between the hills of Piedmont. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, earned in 2013 from the University of Tasmania. I studied visual arts and anthropology because I’ve always been drawn to stories — the real ones, made of glances, silences, gestures. That’s what I try to capture with my camera: the moments that happen when no one is looking, the magic that lives in the ordinary.
I don’t stage or direct your day. I won’t ask you to repeat things or stop the flow of what’s unfolding. I believe the most powerful images are the ones that happen naturally — and I’m there, quietly, to catch them before they disappear.
Over the years, I’ve developed a style that blends honest reportage with a poetic eye: raw and real, yet delicate and timeless. Whether you’re exchanging vows under a tree, in a vineyard, or by the sea, I’ll be there — not as someone who tells you what to do, but as someone who sees you.
I now live in the Langhe region, surrounded by vineyards, wind, and light. I work mostly with couples from abroad who choose to celebrate their love in a quiet, meaningful way — just the two of them, or with their closest people.
